As a forensic consultant and trainer, Brenda Butler provides expert services and training on a variety of law enforcement topics, including crime scene investigation. She also consults on criminal and civil cases as an expert in 3D data documentation, including laser scanning and drone mapping. Her expertise has been recognized in courtrooms across the United States.
Brenda is dedicated to delivering high-quality consulting, training, and speaking that meets the needs of her clients. With years of experience and a passion for forensics, she is committed to excellence in every aspect of her work.
A 20-year veteran police officer and crime scene investigator for 19 years, Brenda is certified through the International Association of Identification as a crime scene analyst. She has consulted on a wide variety of criminal cases nationwide, working with attorneys representing both the prosecution and the defense in local, state, and federal courts. In addition, she provides courtroom consultation to ensure clarity and confidence when presenting forensic evidence.
Brenda also conducts advanced training for law enforcement officers and crime scene investigators in areas such as basic, intermediate, and advanced crime scene investigation; photography; shooting incident reconstruction; bloodstain pattern mapping & documentation; and courtroom testimony. She has also trained countless attorneys across the U.S. in the use of forensic science and 3D technology in the courtroom.
